The third, and final, season of 'Love' recently premiered on Netflix and tells us, in dramedy format, the tragicomic, almost romantic relationship between Gus and Mickey (Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs, respectively), in which each of they bring their different perspectives on what love, dating, and sexual relationships really are in the modern world. Both are very different but get along (usually) well, make each other laugh and have fun.

 If you are looking for conventional love stories in an original format, 'Love life' will interest you. This series tells the love misadventures of Darby (Anna Kendrick), a young woman who in each episode will show us a different moment in her love life until she finds the stability she is looking for. The series created by Sam Boyd, which has already been renewed for a second season, wants to explore the ins and outs of love, sex and relationships, focusing each season on a different character. An idea that helps us look at the romantic comedy genre in a different way, but still staying within its margins.

 Getting to know each other, falling in love and starting a relationship are the phases that normal romantic stories usually follow, but 'Feel good' tells you that in the first episode. The rest is life, the reality after the manual 'The End', the problems that arise in coexistence, the secrets that gradually come to light. Created by Ally Pankiw, it shows us a story led by Canadian comedian Mae Martin, who plays a version of herself and her problems with addiction and jealousy with her new girlfriend, who used to be straight.

 Set in England at the turn of the 20th century, 'Downton Abbey' follows a family of Yorshire aristocrats who fell in love with audiences thanks to their romantic entanglements and family scandals. And it is that the Crawleys and their servants are of arms to take, and their lives overlap in the same building where the class system is exposed and where we live some historical events that go from the sinking of the Titanic to the First World War. It is also one of the best historical series to travel to the past.

 The first Spanish series to come to Netflix, created by Ramón Campos and Gemma R. Neira, told us the story of four girls who are telemarketers with very different personalities whose paths cross for a common goal: to achieve freedom and economic independence. Well, also because they are involved in problems of all kinds, also with matters of the heart. Lidia, Ángeles, Carlota and Marga have been with us for five seasons since 2017. We count it among the best Netflix original series in its entire history, but also among the best Spanish Netflix series.

'Master of None', like many other series that populate our list, is not a purely romantic comedy, but a millennial drama about how difficult it is to find your place in today's world. Inevitably, romantic relationships also suffer from this feeling of confusion, like the one experienced by Dev (Aziz Ansari) and Rachel (Noël Wells): a beautiful and endearing story, but also hard and full of ups and downs. The second season of the series will premiere on May 12 on the streaming service.

 Netflix adopted the British series 'Scrotal Recall', changed the title and transformed it into 'Lovesick', whose second season we could see last fall. It began by telling the story of Dylan (Johnny Flynn), a twenty-something who discovers that he has an STD and has to contact all the sexual partners he has had in recent years. Although it may not seem like it, there is little or nothing to be a hooligan, since 'Lovesick' takes advantage of its format full of flashbacks to talk about missed opportunities and the hope of finding true love.

Rachel Bloom's acclaimed comedy tells the story of Rebecca, who leaves everything to move to Los Angeles and pursue her dream, even if she isn't sure exactly what it is. Although the romantic section of the series is not the center of it, the way in which Rebecca approaches relationships and her obsession with her ex make her worthy of a place on our list.

 Known in our country as 'You, Me and Her', this American series addresses polyamory and the peculiarities of having a relationship made up of three people, with a lot of humor and a necessary perspective that we are not used to seeing on television.
